Therapeutic Philosophy

I believe that psychotherapy relies on a relationship of mutual respect and honesty between the therapist and client. My approach to working with people is both holistic and unique for each person.

My training spans the past 40 years. As a result, several theories, rather than one theory exclusively, underpin my practice. My personal and professional experience leads me to believe that there is rarely one cause for emotional pain or dysfunction, and there is more than one path to emotional health and well-being.

I use my knowledge, as well as teaching and coaching skills, to increase awareness, build skills, accomplish change, and achieve the results that enhance relationships and life experience.
